Our Waft Laundry Perfume is one of those wonderfully versatile products that goes far beyond the laundry basket. A super-concentrated, natural essential oil laundry scent and fabric softener, it takes just a few drops to fragrance a whole wash — but its uses don’t stop there. We’ve been collecting top tips and creative ideas from our customers on how to get the very most out of every bottle.
Here are 8 top tips for making the most of your Waft Laundry Perfume:
1. As a natural fabric softener
Mix 10-20 drops of Waft Laundry Perfume with white vinegar and add it to your fabric softener drawer. The vinegar acts as a natural softener, breaking down detergent residue and leaving clothes feeling soft and fresh — while the Waft fragrance ensures they smell beautiful too. It’s a simple, eco-friendly alternative to conventional fabric conditioners.
2. For ironing
Add 10 drops of Waft Laundry Perfume to 100ml of water and pour into a spray bottle. Spritz lightly onto clothes before ironing for a beautifully fresh, long-lasting scent. It also works wonderfully with distilled water in the tank of a steam iron.
3. To fragrance drawers and wardrobes
Place 4–5 drops of Waft Laundry Perfume onto a cotton wool ball or tissue and tuck it into your drawers or wardrobe. A simple, natural way to keep your clothes smelling fresh between washes.
4. As a natural bathroom freshener
Add 4–5 drops to a cotton wool ball or tissue and place it discreetly in your bathroom or cloakroom for a subtle, lasting natural fragrance — without the need for synthetic air fresheners.
5. For tumble drying
Pour 4–5 drops of Waft Laundry Perfume onto a small piece of fabric or cloth and add it to the dryer along with your clothes. A natural, plastic-free alternative to synthetic dryer sheets.
6. As a natural car freshener
Add 4–5 drops to a small piece of fabric and place it in a side pocket or under a seat. A discreet, long-lasting natural fragrance for your car — without the artificial scents of conventional air fresheners.
7. In the vacuum cleaner
Place a few drops of Waft Laundry Perfume onto a cotton ball and pop it into the vacuum cleaner bag or filter. As air flows through the machine, it will release a gentle burst of natural fragrance around the room — making cleaning a more pleasant experience.
8. In homemade natural cleaning products
If you make your own eco-friendly cleaning products — using baking soda, vinegar, or castile soap — try adding 10 drops of Waft Laundry Perfume to your mop water or surface spray. It adds a beautiful natural scent to your cleaning routine without any synthetic chemicals.
