Our best selling and award winning LoofCo Body Loofah is handmade in Egypt from the native Luffa Aegyptiaca plant that has an aerated texture that has used to clean skin for centuries. Crafted from a slice of loofah taken from the wider end of the loofah gourd, each loofah is designed to gently cleanse, exfoliate, and invigorate your skin in the bath or shower. Fitting neatly in the hand, they offer an easy and effective way to treat your skin. A perfect plastic-free bathroom accessories for sustainable homes and perfect for gifting. As a totally natural product, each loofah pad is unique slice of loofah so sizes density may vary. We select our loofahs to do the job well!

How to use

While the Body Loofah may feel slightly rough when dry, it swells and softens when immersed in water, transforming into a spongy, flexible pad that’s gentle on your skin. Before your first use, rinse thoroughly, then use it on damp skin with your favourite soap or shower gel in a gentle circular motion to cleanse, exfoliate, and freshen your skin. After each use, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out excess water, and always dry out by hanging from the cotton string loop. To periodically wash & freshen your Body Loofah, simply add to your laundry wash in the washing machine or soak in a cup of hot water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda for 15–20 minutes to deep clean and deodorise. Always air dry thoroughly and do not leave damp for extended periods.
