Our hero product! We created our award-winning LoofCo Washing-Up Pad to make everyday washing-up simple, natural, and plastic-free. Each pad is handmade in Egypt from the gourd of our specially grown Luffa Aegyptiaca plant — a biodegradable, durable, and sustainable alternative to synthetic nylon scourers and sponges. Each Pad has a handy woven cotton hanging loop for easy drying and storage. A simple swap away from nylon sponges and scourers to help you reduce plastic use and waste in your kitchen. As a totally natural product, each loofah pad is unique slice of loofah so sizes density may vary. We select our loofahs to do the job well!

How to use

Before first use, rinse the pad thoroughly. Soak to soften, then use with washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap for everyday dishwashing. After each wash, rinse well, squeeze out excess water, and hang to dry by the cotton loop. To periodically wash & freshen your Washing-Up Pad ,simply add to your laundry wash in the washing machine or soak in a cup of hot water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda for 15–20 minutes to deep clean and
deodorise. Always air dry thoroughly and do not leave damp for extended periods.
