Notes from the Sink: Don't Throw It Away — Give Your Back Brush a Second Life

When your LoofCo Back Brush has done its time in the bathroom, it doesn't have to retire. Its long handle and soft sisal bristles make it one of the most versatile cleaning tools in the house — you just need to know where to point it.

LoofCo Back Brush

Under the Bath

The gap between the bottom of the bath panel and the floor is one of those spots that rarely gets cleaned — mostly because it's so hard to reach. Your retired back brush is perfect for the job. The long handle means no awkward crouching, and the soft sisal lifts dust and debris without scratching.

Top of the Shower Cubicle & Tiles

Soap scum and limescale love to creep up to the top of shower tiles where no one thinks to look. Use your back brush damp with a little eco cleaner to scrub those hard-to-reach upper tiles and the top ledge of the cubicle — no stepladder needed.

Cobwebs in Corners & Ceilings

Soft sisal bristles are brilliant for lifting cobwebs without smearing them across the wall. Run the brush along ceiling corners, behind doors, and around light fittings. Dry is best for this one — cobwebs come away cleanly.

Under the Sofa & Furniture

Dust bunnies under the sofa are no match for a long-handled brush. Used dry, the sisal bristles gently sweep dust and fluff out from underneath furniture without you having to move anything heavy. A quick sweep before vacuuming makes a real difference.

Under Radiators

One of the most overlooked dust traps in any home. Slide the brush side to side under the radiator — you'll be amazed (and possibly horrified) at what comes out onto the brush. Dry works well here, or very lightly damp if there's any grime on the wall behind.

Damp or Dry — With or Without Eco Cleaner

The beauty of natural sisal is its versatility. Use the LoofCo Back Brush completely dry for dusting and cobwebs, or dampen it slightly and add a drop of your favourite eco cleaner for tougher jobs like tiles, skirting boards, or outdoor furniture. Always rinse well and hang to dry after damp use to keep the bristles in good shape.
